I am originally from Wales and upon leaving school I initially went down the career path of completing an Engineering Apprenticeship to be a Fabricator/Welder
or Boilermaker as it is known here. Alongside this I continued working on my passion for health, fitness and assisting others to achieve life
goals and studied sports, completed a diploma in sports massage. Prior to moving I played a lot of rugby and was a regularly lifting weights
at the gym. At 22 years of age I had the opportunity to achieve one of my own life goals and emigrate to Australia. Since then I have been
able to work, study and become a qualified personal trainer and constantly strive to assist others to become the best version of themselves
by sharing and applying my range of knowledge in the improvement of body composition, strength and conditioning.
I have personal experience with regard to weight loss/body composition as I have been both ends of the scale. 85KG very active and fit, to growing to 125KG being overweight, unhealthy and very in-active.
Like many people I had not realised the extent of my weight gain along with loss of health/fitness until I was running around after our beautiful Daughter, then it hit home how overweight and unhealthy I had become. The shock realization of the state of my health spurred me into taking action and re-uniting with my passion of assisting others to achieve goals and looking after myself better. This resulted in “Me” joining back at a gym (Muscle Garden) and thinking of the best method of preparing myself with correct tools and knowledge to improve myself and assist others to improve themselves and lose weight. The outcome was to become a qualified personal trainer and put my training and experience into practice.
If weight loss, body composition, strength and conditioning are your goals, come and speak to me. I speak from experience and it is never too late to start.
